Sathit Sattarasart (1979 TH) is a visual artist, whose works are varied from sculptures to videos. Sattarasart works with various subject matters ranging from social, situational to everyday life scenario. His practice mainly deals with how things come to be. Sattarasart pays a lot of attention to art related subjects like artist’s roles, institutional subjects, authorship, framing and execution of artworks (the meanings of materials, processes, and structures).

Sattarasart’s works have been included in various international exhibitions at several art institutions, for example, MMCA National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, BACC Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt am Main, ZKM Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe. He participated in exhibitions like Art Berlin Contemporary 2010, Busan Biennale 2006, Asian Contemporary Art Week 2006.

Sathit Sattarasart graduated as a Meisterschüler from Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste (Städelschule) from the class of Professor Tobias Rehberger. Recently Sattarasart has been practicing his curatorial works, the latest curatorial practice is the exhibition ‘appearing unannounced’ in Chiangmai 2018/2019. Currently, he lives and works between Guangzhou, Bangkok, and Berlin.
